- How do you think that the hunt for the Kalkara went? Even though they were both killed, do you think that the battle went the best way? Do you think that they weren't smart in falling in the same situation as the boar hunt?
- How skilled do you think Halt is compared to the other Rangers? Do you think all of them are like him?
- Do you think that Will is a abnormally skilled apprentice, or just average?
- How is this setting connected to medieval times? Do you think that some sort of group of people back then were like the Rangers?
- According to Cryptid Hunters, there is a group in the military called the Rangers that know every way to kill a man with only hands. Are these two elite groups related? Or, is it just a coincidence?
- How did Will and Halt's relationship as an apprentice and master change when Will learned of Halt's background with Will's dad? Are they more than just an apprentice and master now?
- Has Will adopted Halt's dry sense of humor? Or has he always been that way?
