This Blog has been setup to facilitate discussions on the book you are reading in your Literacy Circle. Each student must make their initial post by Wednesday, and write a comment on 2 other student's posts by Thursday. The group face-to-face discussion will be held Friday afternoon and will be based around the posts made on this blog.

Ranger's Apprentice Chapters 22-27 Discussion Director


  1. Do you think Halt, Will, & Gilan can kill the Kalkara?
  2. Do you like Gilan, Why or why not?
  3. Do you think the Kalkara are going to King Duncan or the Gorlan Ruins?
  4. Do you think the Kalkara will rebuild the Gorlan Ruins why or why not?
  5. If the Ranger Corps could have saved two other senior rangers for Halt and Halt left Will & Gilan do you think Will would be apprenticed to Gilan until Halt came back, if he did why or why not?
  6. Do you think anyone lives in the Gorlan Ruins why or why not?
  7. do you think Gilan was happy to give Blaze over to Will why or why not?
  8. Do you think Will, will make it back to castle redmont and lead the baron and sir Rodney back in time, why or why not?
